Biography:

Jonas Kaufmann was born in 1969 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. He is an operatic tenor, known for In the Shadow of the Moon (2019), Andrea Chénier: Live from the Royal Opera House (2015) and Tosca (2011). He has been married to Christiane Lutz since January 2019. They have one child. He was previously married to Margarete Joswig.
