Freeman F. Gosden was born on May 5, 1899 in Richmond, Virginia, USA as Freeman Fisher Gosden. He was a writer and actor, known for The Amos 'n Andy Show (1951), Calvin and the Colonel (1961) and Check and Double Check (1930). He was married to Jane S. Gosden and Leta Marie Schreiber. He died on December 10, 1982 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
